Worship TEAM

Our Worship team lead the church in sung worship on Sunday mornings at Avanti. We’d welcome anyone to consider joining this team if you have a heart for worship and a skill or gifting in music or singing.

• When?
  Arrive Sunday mornings at 8:30am, finishing 1pm.
  Mid-week rehearsal, usually on Thursdays 7:30pm-9pm when serving.

• What?
  The worship team are formed of musicians and singers that love worshipping and have a gift in music. The worship team are not able to offer lessons in these skills, but welcome anyone to be part of it who are already investing into those gifts.

• Who?
  We’d welcome anyone to apply to serve on this team. Ages 14+.
  There is a suitability process that we undertake for anyone wishing to join the team.

• How Often?
  Serving once or twice per month.

• Skills?
  Prior experience in being part of a Worship team is helpful but not essential.
  Musical or vocal training / competency is essential. Musicians will need to be able to read from chord charts (we do not use sheet music).

• DBS Check needed?
  No
