COMMUNITY OUTREACH TEAM
Our church is invested in the community of Fishponds and Oldbury Court. We operate during the week from the Vassall’s Centre and need willing volunteers who are able to help us as we reach out to this community in various ways. Could you be part of the team that helps us do this?
When?
Tea & Tots: Wednesday 9am-11am
Drop-In Cafe: Thursday 11am-1pm
DIY Team: Weekdays (as and when projects come up)
What?
Tea & Tots is our weekly drop-in playgroup for children and their parents or carers. We need volunteers to make people feel welcome, chat to them and engage with the kids.
Drop-In Cafe is our weekly cafe where anyone in the community can come for a bite to eat and some company. We need volunteers to help serve some food, make the guests feel welcome and spend time chatting with them.
We have a DIY team that will help with DIY jobs in the local community as and when we find out about them.Who?
We’d love to welcome anyone aged 18+ to register interest to join this team.How Often?
