BE A PROACTIVE MEMBER OF YOUR PRAYER POD

Prayer Pods are small groups of 2 or 3 people in Life Church that regurlarly meet, encourage and pray. They are our way of supporting one another in tough times, celebrating with one another in good times and pointing one another to Jesus at all times.

Like all things though, it’s easy to allow others to lead us. Yet often, we will find that we receive the most and are blessed the most when we encourage others, when we serve others and when we bless others.

Being a proactive member of your prayer pod could mean many things; but underlying it all it’s about being an initiator. Rather than relying on someone else to send an encouraging message or voice note, why don’t you do it? Rather than expecting someone to pray for you, why not reach out to ask what you can be praying for? Rather than waiting for someone else to organise meeting up, why not you?
